A Little About Me…
I started Equinine in 2018 after saving and studying for several years, during which I worked for the MOD in Maintenance. I also worked at a competition livery yard in and around my office hours and at weekends.
Alongside work, I studied towards my Animal Handling & Business Management Diploma at level 3. I then moved on to qualifying in a Diploma for Dog Grooming, also at Level 3 Distinction. I have worked in busy competition livery yards, tack shops, and I have recently been volunteering with the local dog trainer, as an assistant in her classes, to help those training their puppies and adult dogs and learning masses along the way!
Over the years, I have met and befriended so many pet owners in and around Overton & Whitchurch, attended many local shows/fetes, and I will soon be expanding Equinine.. More to be revelaed on this I am SO excited to share with you!
Personal Life: I was lucky enough to grow up with a multitude of pets. Dogs, horses, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters to name a few. I met my Husband at school and we have reached so many pillars in life together with fond memories. I married my best friend in July 2025 and couldn’t be happier. We own a 7yo Hungarian Vizsla named Nero, our first pet together, and in 2022 we introduced our 2nd darling into our home. Her name is Twiglet and she is a Manchester Terrier who loves nothing more than snuggling up next to Nero by the fire after a long walk!
In my spare time my favourite thing to do is spend it with Nero, Twiglet and my Husband. We like go on long walks (especially by the coast!), paddleboarding, canicross and pub lunches together and I also take them both out with me horse riding! We are keen runners, I canicross with Nero & Twiglet, and run half marathons throughout the year.
